Climbing is my biggest passion: I can’t do without it!
Matteo started climbing with his parents in outdoor lead: at 12 he climbed his first 8a and he climbed up to 8b+. He also tried boulder and he climbed up to 8a and 8b.
Later his passion for this sport moved also in the competitive field: he was the U14 Italian Champion in 2013.
From 2014 he has been participated to all the Youth Boulder Competition and he conquered:
– 3° place in the European Championship in 2015 and 2016
– 1° place in the European Cup in 2016 and 2° place in 2017
– 7° place in World Championship in 2015
In 2017 he participated for the first time to Olympic Combined Competition and he conquered 2° place at Youth European Championship 5° place at European Championship.
